Calling plans allow you to control where customers are allowed to call and what, if any, the cost should be for those calls. Each of your plans can be set up with a number of included minutes or a per-minute rate, depending on how you want to charge for services.
Calling plans are created at the partition level in the Management tab, and are assigned to at the account or user level separately. Following our recommended strategy, you may have an inclusive domestic plan, which is the default plan assigned to the account, and add-on plans for international locations, which can be added at the user level to expand their calling areas.
See Calling Plans Best Practices for details.
In Account > Settings > Calls, you can see the calling plans assigned to the account, including the minutes used (in the current billing cycle) and total minutes available for each plan. To remove a plan from the account, click the trash can icon on the right. At least one calling plan is required.
The inbound rate plan defines the billing rates when using a toll-free number. This field is required.
