User Device Settings

Modified on Wed, 15 Jan at 11:07 AM

There are two ways to manage the devices assigned to a user:

  1. If you know exactly the device you're after but not the user it's assigned to (or if it's unassigned), check the Device Management section.
  2. If you know the user but not the device, you can do all the same things in the User's Devices tab, as detailed below.

User Devices

FieldDescription

[+ Add Device]

Click here to begin the process of adding a new device to the account.

Device Lines

For each device, see the type, MAC address, and line number. Click Edit to view and manage the following:

  • Device Info (view)
  • Bulk Line Configuration
  • Reset Device Encryption Key
  • Line Configuration
  • Sidecar Management
  • Swap a Device
  • Deactivate Device

Referenced Devices

Check the information of devices that share a line with the device in question (if any) here.

UC Apps (BCC Users Only)

Devices UC Apps

FieldDescription
UC Apps

The BCC user’s UC apps are listed both under Device Lines and under UC Apps. The UC Apps section indicates the type of device (desktop or mobile), the operating system, app version, and whether it is currently able to receive calls. Apps which are logged out or otherwise not connected to the network show a red X.

Legacy Cymbus apps are not referenced in the user's Devices tab.
