Post Dialing Delay (PDD) is the time interval between when the last digit is dialed and when the call rings. A longer than normal delay may occur on either side of the call.
Calls not sending right away
When dialing a number shorter than 11-digits (like a 7- or 10-digit number or an extension), there is a short delay before the phone recognizes that you're done dialing and initiates the call.
To reduce the delay, dial the phone number or extension and press # to initiate the call. This may not work on all devices.
Calls not connecting right away
If you can see that your call has been sent but there's a noticeable delay before it rings on the receiving end, there may be a network issue or something else going on. Gather information about the call and open a support ticket.
