Management > Account Defaults

Use Account Defaults to select the feature settings that will automatically be applied to new accounts created on your partition, saving you from having to configure settings individually for each new account. Account Managers and Admin end users can change these settings on their own accounts as needed. These settings will not affect any existing accounts.

Secure Calling

To enable Secure Calling for new accounts created on your partition, check Encrypted SIP signaling communications from devices/client to server, then click [Save]. Once enabled, supported devices within each new account will be configured to send SIP signaling over TLS.

Before you adjust this setting, please ensure you have already tested Secure Calling on a single account to confirm it performs as expected. Unless there is a strict requirement to apply Secure Calling to all your accounts, we typically recommend only enabling it at the account level for the accounts that really need it.

Music On Hold

Choose the default hold music for new accounts created on your partition. Please note, a custom audio file cannot be added as the partition default at this time.

  1. From the drop-down menu, select an option:
    • None (Intermittent Beep). When a caller is placed on hold, they will hear two short beeps followed by dead air, which will repeat every 15 seconds
    • Standard Options. Select one of the free audio files: Change, Happiness, or Minimalist.
  2. To listen to the audio file in your browser, click the Play Icon Blue play button on the right.
  3. Click [Save]. Moving forward, this Music On Hold setting will be applied to all new accounts created on your partition. Changing this setting will not affect any existing accounts.

Platform (service provider) users and even Account Managers and Admin end users can change this setting — and even upload a custom audio file — for an individual account in Account > Settings > Music On Hold.
