Assign Music On Hold and AA Prompt media files to features throughout the portal.
Assign Music on Hold
Account Settings
Media files set as Music On Hold can be configured on the account in Account > Settings > Calls. See Music On Hold for details.
Auto-Attendant Group Routes
Callers that reach an auto-attendant group will hear hold music until the call is answered. A custom Music On Hold file can be assigned to each group for a customized experience.
In each group, click the menu and select a media file from the list. To be sure you’ve got the right file, click Play on the right. See Group Route for details.
Assign Auto-Attendant Prompts
Media files set as AA Prompt can be used in the Menu, Message and Directory routes in an auto-attendant. For each prompt, click the menu and select a media file from the list. To be sure you’ve got the right file, click Play on the right.
Live auto-attendants must be duplicated or deactivated before the prompts can be updated. See Edit an Auto-Attendant for details.
